Bij het verlenen en verkrijgen van onderdak gelden bepaalde regels die duidelijkheid geven omtrent wat u kunt en mag verwachten van elkaar. Als u deelneemt aan dit platform wordt u geacht daarmee akkoord te zijn gegaan. Mocht u daaromtrent op- en of aanmerkingen hebben wilt u die dan via het contactformulier aan ons kenbaar maken?

• Wanneer u gebruik wilt maken van enige vorm van gastvrijheid van een mede ligfietser neemt u bij voorkeur minstens één dag van tevoren telefonisch contact op;
  
• Wanneer u onverhoopt toch verhinderd bent te komen of denkt op een ander tijdstip dan overeengekomen te arriveren, meldt u dit zo spoedig mogelijk telefonisch aan het gastadres;
• U logeert in principe één nacht en trekt dan weer verder, tenzij anders overeengekomen;
• Bij een overnachting kunt u gebruik maken van een fietsenstalling  / opstelplaats voor het aantal en soort fietsen zoals besproken in het vooroverleg;
• Het gastadres zorgt voor een goed en schoon opgemaakt bed;
• De slaapkamer bevindt zich of op de begane grond of is toegankelijk met een vaste trap;
• De slaapkamer heeft minstens één buitenraam;
• Op de verdieping is een wettelijk voorgeschreven rookalarm;
• Het tarief * bij een overnachting in een woning, aanbouw of tuinhuis inclusief een eenvoudig doch stevig ontbijt is € 25 per persoon en onder 12 jaar € 14. Dat is inclusief schone handdoeken en de mogelijkheid tot het nemen van een douche. Dit is exclusief eventuele toeristenbelasting welke varieert per gemeente;
• Het tarief voor een kampeerplaats rondom de woning is € 10,00 per nacht exclusief ontbijt en eventuele toeristenbelasting. U kunt daarvoor gebruik maken van een douche waarvoor u schone handdoeken ontvangt. Ook in de nacht kunt u gebruik maken van een toiletvoorziening. In overleg kunt u meer diensten afnemen (zie tevens overige diensten);
• Richtlijnen voor het in rekening brengen van de overige diensten*: Opladen elektrische fiets: 0,50; Ontbijtpakket (bij kamperen) € 5; Lunchpakket € 5 ; Warme maaltijd € 10;
• Voor het ruilen van en het passen op huizen worden in overleg eventuele (energie)kosten gerekend;
• Voor het gebruik van een pauzeplaats worden koffie/thee niet in rekening gebracht. Overige aan te bieden/af te nemen producten worden in overleg in rekening gebracht;
• Het te betalen bedrag wordt contant of per pin ter plaatse voldaan;
• In principe mag er niet gerookt worden op het terrein van de gastverlener;
• U maakt gebruik van de gastvrijheid van een gastverlener, u kunt dat niet vergelijken met een hotel of B&B;
• Probeer u zoveel mogelijk te voegen naar de huisregels van de gastverlener en houd u aan de gemaakte afspraken;
• Probeer verschillen van mening respectvol op te lossen. Wij, als vrijwilligers, kunnen en willen niet als arbiter optreden;
• U kunt ons informeren via het contactformulier;
• Wij kunnen mensen van het platform weren.

* Wij hanteren hier dezelfde (richt)tarieven als van ‘ Vrienden op de fiets’  2023

** Informeert u als gastgever zelf bij uw gemeente of en in hoeverre u tot inning van toeristenbelasting verplicht bent en hoe de eventuele afdracht daarvan wordt geregeld.
Ook zult u (in Nederland) de inkomsten minus de kosten moeten opgeven aan de Belastingdienst.

AVG Voorwaarden

Aanpassingen van de voorwaarden

Gebruikers van het platform worden geacht de AVG en Algemene Voorwaarden regelmatig te raadplegen. Mede als gevolg van veranderende wetgeving kunnen deze voorwaarden tussentijds worden aangepast. De laatste versie is voorzien van een datum. Gebruikers worden geacht te allen tijde akkoord te gaan met deze nieuwste versie.

Leeftijdsbegrenzing 

Gebruikers van het platform worden geacht de leeftijd van 18 jaar te hebben bereikt.

Media (geldt vanaf de definitieve versie)

Als u afbeeldingen uploadt naar de website, moet u voorkomen dat u afbeeldingen uploadt met ingesloten locatiegegevens (EXIF GPS) inbegrepen. Bezoekers van de website kunnen locatiegegevens downloaden en extraheren uit afbeeldingen op de website.

Finding agreement with the terms and conditions

By accessing and using this platform, you have agreed to the GDPR terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the services offered on them.

Membership voluntary contribution (applies from final version) 

Volunteers staff this platform. We try to keep the membership free to keep it accessible to everyone. In order to bear the structural costs together, we ask the host to give a voluntary contribution of € 1.00 per night via the donation button on the website. However, there are also one-off and incidental (starting) costs. If you can afford it, it would be nice if you also make a contribution via the donation button on the website.

For hosts and quests

• In principle, you stay one night and then move on, unless otherwise agreed;
• If you want to use any form of hospitality from a fellow recumbent cyclist, please first contact them by telephone, preferably at least one day in advance;
  
• In the unlikely event that you are unable to come or think you will arrive at a different time than agreed, please report this to the guest address by telephone as soon as possible;
  
• In the event of an overnight stay, you can use a bicycle storage suitable for the number and type of recumbent bike(s), as agreed in the preliminary consultation;
• The host takes care that there is a well- made and clean bed.
• The bedroom is either on the ground floor or accessible by a fixed staircase;
• In the bedroom there is at least one window to the outside;
  
• A smoke alarm is present on the floor as required by law;
  
• The rate * for an overnight stay in a house, extension, or garden house including a simple but hearty breakfast is € 25 and under 12 years € 14. That includes fresh towels and the possibility to take a shower. This does not include any tourist tax, which varies per municipality;
  
• The rate for a camping pitch around the house is € 10.00 excluding breakfast and any tourist tax. Within this rate, you can use a shower for which you get fresh towels. You are able to use a toilet facility at night. 
• In consultation with your guest, you can possibly obtain more services (see other services);
  
• Guidelines for charging other services: Charging electric bike*: € 0,50; (Packed)breakfast (at camping): € 5; (Packed) lunch € 5; Dinner: € 10;
  
• In case of house swapping and house-sitting any (energy)costs can be charged in consultation;
  
• Coffee/tea will not be charged for the use of a break area. Other products to be offered/purchased will be charged in consultation;
• The amount to be paid will be paid in cash or by pin on the spot;
  
• In principle, smoking is not allowed on the grounds of the host.
  
• You use the hospitality of a host, you cannot compare that with a hotel or B&B;
  
• Try to comply with the house rules of the host as much as possible and adhere to the mutual agreements;
  
• If problems arise, try to solve them yourself and be respectful. We, as volunteers who keep this platform running, cannot and do not want to act as arbitrators;
  
• You can inform us via the contact form;
  
• We can decide to exclude people from the platform.
  

* We apply the same (target) rates as ‘Friends on the bike’ 2023.

** As a host, please inform your municipality whether and to what extent you are obliged to collect tourist taxes and how the possible payment is arranged.
You maybe also have to declare the income to the tax authorities in your country. Inform yourself.

GDPR Conditions

Modifications to the conditions

Users of the platform are expected to consult the General Terms and Conditions regularly. Partly as a result of changing legislation, these conditions can be adjusted in the meantime. The latest version is provided with a date. Users of the platform are deemed to agree to this latest version at all times.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

The volunteers of this platform are not responsible for damage that occurs as a result of providing or receiving hospitality by and for recumbent cyclists. Nor can they be held responsible for the damage resulting from calamities that occur when using the platform.
